Where It All Started

Back in 2019, I was pretty burnt out from the whole traditional gym scene. You know the drill - rows of treadmills, mirror selfies, people just going through the motions. Don't get me wrong, there's a place for that, but I wanted something that actually made me feel alive.

"I spent that summer doing obstacle races and hiking the North Shore trails, and something just clicked. Training shouldn't feel like punishment - it should feel like an adventure."

Started small, honestly. Just me and a handful of friends meeting at Cates Park at 6 AM, running trails, hauling sandbags, climbing whatever we could find. Word spread pretty quick. Turns out there were tons of people in Vancouver who were tired of staring at walls while they worked out.

By 2021, we'd outgrown the parks and needed a real space. Found this old warehouse on Frontier Way - felt like fate, honestly. Spent three months turning it into what you see today. We kept that outdoor adventure vibe but added all the equipment and coaching structure people needed to actually progress.

What I'm most proud of? It's not the facility or the programs. It's the community we've built. People who show up even when it's pouring rain, who push each other harder than any trainer could, who celebrate PRs and OCR finishes like they're Olympic medals.

Nobody walks in here ready to crush a Spartan Race on day one. We meet you where you're at and build from there. Some days you'll feel unstoppable, other days you'll barely finish. Both are wins.

Functional Beats Fancy

Can you carry your groceries up three flights of stairs without dying? Can you help a friend move without throwing out your back? That's what matters. We train movements, not muscles.

Adventure Is Medicine

Getting outside and challenging yourself does more for your mental health than any gym membership. That's why we mix indoor training with outdoor adventures. Fresh air hits different.

Recovery Isn't Optional

Push hard, sure. But if you're not sleeping, eating right, and giving your body time to adapt, you're just spinning your wheels. We coach the whole lifestyle, not just the hour you spend with us.
